The mission of Sacred Place, Inc. is to empower educate, support and provide services and shelter to women and their children who have (and/or are currently) experiencing domestic violence and sexual assaults. Nevertheless, these families will regain full control of their lives and restore their ability to reenter society free from domestic abusive relationships.

This vision was given to me over 20 years ago, as I had experienced domestic violence in my first marriage at the age of 18 years old.  I was in this unhealthy marriage for 5 years. I never gave up hope that one day God would bless me to leave this marriage. I became a registered nurse during that time and decided that I would never allow myself to be battered again.

With the help of the Lord Jesus Christ I was delivered and I have not looked back. I am currently married to a wonderful husband of 22 years and we have 4 beautiful children. I am  very happy and Loved. I want women to know that they are LOVED and that they do not deserve to be abused: mentally or physically. I will provide a safe environment and the necessary skills for women and children, to help guide them into a better and productive life style.
